The Irish Wolfhound is the mighty symbol of Celtic splendor, and here three chase endlessly around in a circle, biting each others' tails. The tallest of dogs, they are known to be gentle when stroked, fierce when provoked. This fine zoomorphic pattern is derived from one found in the Book of Kells, changed to look more like Irish Wolfhounds.
