Welcome to the designs of the world famous Celtic tattoo artist Pat Fish.
Since beginning her tattoo career in 1984, she has worked with the goal of making the intricate designs from the ancient Irish illuminated manuscripts and Pictish stones come to life in the skin of modern Celts.
During her annual trips to Ireland she researches the ancient manuscripts at Trinity College, Dublin and in museums; taking inspiration from these incredible works of genius. She also travels widely throughout Ireland and the British Isles, doing charcoal impressions of the patterns on ancient tombstones, in graveyards, and on standing stones.
Scots-Irish by heritage, Celt and Pict by the grace of God, she confesses to a deep preference for this sort of art above all others. "It holds my attention best!" she asserts, and for almost half her life she has specialized in installing it carefully in her clients' skins. "Ever since I was a little girl I drew tangles of lines and then sorted them out into over-and-under patterns," she recalls, "and I always loved to do embroidery. Now I embroider skin!"
The internet has been a huge boost for her career, and her popular website
http://www.luckyfish.com
showcases many photographs of her work and brings in most of her clients. Many are from other states, even from around the world, and organize a tattoo appointment as part of a business or pleasure trip to California.
"I feel as though everyone should specialize," Fish says, "and if someone wants a portrait I'm happy to tell them who else can do that best for them. I know that working within the style of Celtic art gives me the most challenge, and professional satisfaction. So now that I am able to spend the majority of my time focused on Celtic work, I deeply appreciate this part of my career."
The marketablility of her unique designs was the impetus to create this unique tattoo pattern salespoint, and she is sends heartfelt thanks for the complement that is paid whenever anyone chooses to wear one of her designs. Your purchase of fine quality tattoo art will make it that much easier for your chosen local artist to give you a quality result, a thing of beauty that will last forever.
Thank you in advance for your patronage!
