Spectacles of Gywydion

Traditionally the blind people in Celtic society often became harpers, and this is the pattern said to have been carved on the harp of one of the most famous harpers, Gwydion. It is called the "spectacles of Gwydion" because it represented the second sight, through which he saw the faerie lands he sang of.
